What E-file Should I Choose?

Which E-File should I Buy? It can be quite daunting deciding which e-file to buy the first time round. But I will impart my wisdom and hopefully save you a headache... There is no such thing as a beginners e-file. Start as you mean to go on. Yes, the good ones are expensive but if you are serious about nails then investing in a good quality e-file will ultimately save you time and money in the long run and your e-file will last you for years to come What to look for when purchasing an E-File for the first time:

  • No vibration in the handpiece - This is the most important point. You want it to glide across the nail, not have to grip on for dear life
  • Solid casings - A good quality e-file will last you for years to come (even with all the monomer and acetone we throw at it!)
  • Repairs/Spare Parts - Most suppliers of e-files will supply a handpiece repair/maintenance service or be able to point you in the direction of someone who can. They will usually also be able to supply you, or again point you to a company who can supply you, with spare parts for your e-file.
  • Recommendations - Let's face it - we nail techs are great at recommending. So ask your fellow techs what their preference is. They may even have a cheeky discount code for you.
To make life easy for you we have listed a few machines below. E-Files we recommend: Kuku Portable E-File - £70 Get them from the Kuku Nails Facebook Page Kupa Super UP200 or Kupa UP223 - Get them from VB Nails Saeyang K35 (portable/rechargable) or Saeyang K38 (also called Cube or Marathon) - Get them from TAFS

What do I need to bring?

You should bring your full woring kit + an e-file. A detailed information email, including a full list of what you should bring, will be sent to you after you have booked the course.
